Course Description
Over the duration of this course, you're going to learn how to use Photoshop CS6. You'll learn the basics so that you can complete the most basic of tasks, but you'll also get the chance to be involved into some advanced features.
During the course you’ll learn how to:

Getting to know and customize the Photoshop interface

Bitmap image editing basic facts and concepts

Identify the attributes of raster and vector graphics, customize the Photoshop environment, open and navigate within images in Photoshop and Adobe Bridge, and use Photoshop Help.

Use several selection tools to select images areas, and modify and manipulate selections.

Layers panel and layer manipulation. Create layers; arrange and transform layers; Create Type layers; and use opacity, layer blending modes, and layer styles to apply effects to layer contents.

How to zoom and pan efficiently

Restoration and touch-up to improve images
-
Selection tools techniques for selecting pixels

Workflow from Bridge to Adobe Camera Raw to Photoshop

Painting and related tools and optional settings

An introduction to selections, channels, and quick masks

How to set the color mode and correct pixel resolution

Save for Web module for gif, jpg, and png.
At the completion of the course, you will be able to:

Professionally produce and edit images

Use digital imaging tools and techniques for image editing, tonal and color correction, and special effects.

Assemble multiple images into composite digital representations that incorporate color and design principles to achieve a sense of style, dimension and depth.

Plan, prepare, and design digital imagery that incorporates message in conjunction with artistic and technical elements of professional quality.
