New Directions in Cyber Security Conference

The EIT Digital Action Line 'Digital Infrastructure' hosted a full day international conference on 19th October 2017 in Berlin. The main goal of the conference was to discover new trends in Cyber Security from the point of view of the industry, politics and the startup world.

Panels and keynotes from industry professionals and politicians working on cyber security policies animated the discussions. It was opened by Dr. Udo Bub, Node Director of EIT Digital, Germany. The session engaged some exceptional speakers, like Dr. Wolfgang Kniejski, EIT Digital, Access-to-market lead, Germany who also moderated some of the panels, Dr. Claude Kirchner, INRIA, France, Mr. Gery Ducatel, British Telecom TSO, UK, Mr. Maxim Kostin, CEO of DigiFlak OU, Estonia, Ms. Castina de la Maza, COO, Red Border, Spain and etc.

The conference encouraged the participants for networking and finally it outlined some new directions and goals that should be achieved in a short and long term perspective.
